   In response to your recent question on my blog re Oregon, I wrote a lengthy post: It starts by analyzing Oregon’s rape statute and shows exactly what the statute defines as rape (this is actually pretty complex, more so that you probably realized when you asked.)

   Then it explains why the statute is extraordinarily shitty, and how it is virtually guaranteed to prevent the conviction of the vast majority of people that we would all consider to be rapists.
