You may have had good raw material to work with, but that is still an amazing photo. I forget: do you do this for a living, or part thereof? If not, have you ever thought about it?

Thanks, Lu, that’s very flattering! But no, I don’t do this for a living, or for part of a living. Nor do I want to; I think I have more fun taking pictures as a hobby than I would if I took it more seriously.

Most fun things are more fun when you don’t have to do them. Still, if you ever needed work… I would certainly hire you to photograph my kids. (Well, I would if it didn’t involve such a long plane ride.)

(I actually know someone who had never even picked up a camera 5 years ago who is now a professional child photographer.)

Holy cow Barry, this is a great photo. What else are you hiding?!?

What am I hiding? Let’s see… (looks). Bodies of my old masters, treasure maps, past housemates who you all assumed had moved out. You know, the usual stuff.

This picture is WONDERFUL. I look forward to seeing the original in January.
