"Alas" maintenance taking place today

I’m going to attempt to upgrade “Alas” to the current version of “WordPress.” If the site goes down for a while or some comments people leave today are lost, this is why.

UPDATE: That went pretty well. Please let me know in comments if you spot any new bugs.
