    This interesting commentary from the Los Angeles Times where a long-time police officer talks about the time he elicited a murder confession that turned out to be false.

    I don’t know if I am misremembering, but it seems to me that when I was in Korea I learned that one function this see-saw game used to serve was that it allowed the women who played to get a glimpse, during the day when they were not allowed outside the walled family compound, of life beyond the compound the walls.
