   I so needed to see that Thanks for posting it. I haven’t been to the movies in a couple years, so the Oscars is pretty much wasted on me. I can’t be the only one?

   It’s funny. Just before they announced the winner, I pointed out to my dad that no woman has ever won an Oscar for Best Directing.

   But all in all, this sums up my feeling on Best Picture.

   I’m with ya. Bigelow opened some doors tonight. And I’m really glad Cameron didn’t win for Pocahontas II: Electric Boogaloo.

   I know it never had a chance, but I was really hoping for Up to take home Best Picture.

   Still, props to Bigelow for a fine film, and for her achievement.

   The only one of the 10 movies nominated for “Best Picture” that I saw was “Up”, which I thought was a wonderful movie. “The Hurt Locker” must be a heck of a movie. I’ll have to go see it.
