Comics Alliance has a lot of fun photos from the counter-protest against the homophobic, America-hating, horrible-in-every-way Westboro Baptist Church, which was in San Diego briefly to protest Comic-Con.

    Why is the Spy holding a “God Hates Sentries” sign? The whole point of playing the Spy is that you can destroy sentry guns easily. Wouldn’t the Spy be more of a “God Hates Flamethrowers” type of guy?

    I assumed he was referring to the Marvel character, whom God does in fact hate.

    Gotta love the “Odin is God, read Mighty Thor #5″ sign.
