Amp is a Sell-Out

Posted by Ampersand | October 4th, 2005

Here’s one of the reasons I didn’t have much time to post last month: An illustration job done for Commerce Magazine, a Portland business mag. This is the first time I got to do a full-page, full-color magazine illustration, so that was fun.

Nicely done. Hopefully a magazine called Commerce pays well. Was this a one time thing, or are you a regular now?

Thanks. I’m not a regular now (alas), but the editor was pleased and said she’d hire me again someday.

Nice work, Amp. BTW, I hope you’re not chiding yourself over doing this sort of work. Nothing wrong with it at all.

[shakes fist] I should’ve made you pay for my waffle on Saturday, you cad !
I haven’t sold any art this year ! [sulk]

I did get a lovely rejection form letter from Radius, though. :p

Sell-out! I used to think you were cool.

    Okay, I’m over that.

It’s a cool illustration - I’m just completely confused as to what the article you were illustrating is about.

    Way to go Amp!
