Pseudo-Adrienne Has Left The Building
| December 23rd, 2005Pseudo-Adriane and I have decided to return to having separate blogs. What it comes down to, primarily, is that P-A and I want different things from our blogs, and that’s cool. Also, P-A missed having a blog of her own.
P-A has already started posting again on her own fabulous blog, Pseudo-Adrienne’s Liberal Feminist Bias. I’m gonna be reading it often, and I hope you all will, too.
I also want to thank P-A for the sensational job she’s done blogging at “Alas.” Her posts here have, frankly, kicked patriarchal ass, and I know that her posts at P-A’s Liberal Feminist Bias will do the same. Let’s face it, P-A rocks.

Well, congrats to P-A. The blog looks nice, but I see that to post you have to create a blog on blogger if you don’t already have one. :(

You don’t have to create a blog, just an identity.

Are you sure ? Once I did the identity thing, it asked for a blog name as well.
Bah.

It wants you to start a blog, but you don’t have to. All you need is the login.
(So give it a fake blog name, and then delete the blog, and Bob’s your uncle.)

I’m guessing there’s already a blog somewhere called Bob’s Your Uncle. Somewhere in the UK, I’ll wager.
Meanwhile, P-A, your blog looks nice.

You know, I wanted to post once on the pro-Iraq war blog “The Belmont Club,” because I thought that one of their posts about fatalities in Iraq gave a misleading impression (I’ll spare you the details).
Well, I had to create a blogger identity to do it. And once I did, I was asked to create a blog. I figured I just wouldn’t use it at all. Ha, ha.
That’s how I became a blogger. Beware, alsis, you might get sucked in, too!
(Of course, my “Glaivester” pseudonym goes back even further, to my posting on the Good vs. Evil Sci-Fi Channel bulletin board way back in April of 2000).

Confused, me! Is Alas still a group blog or is it a one-person blog again? I haven’t seen any posts by your other co-bloggers in awhile…

Well, unless Kim (bv!) and Nick start posting a lot more than they have been, I’d say it’s an individual blog with occasional guest posts.

You could always get a livejournal. It’s like a blog, only with tons of angsty personal drama.

Thanks for the clarification, Amp! I’ll be reorganizing my blogroll accordingly, putting you back in with my individually-run blogs and adding Pseudo-Adrienne. Heaven forfend I don’t get anal about such things. :)

Well, I hope to do some posting but as Amp knows, I’ve been busy with babies, school and family juggling.
Hopefully I’ll have more time as Matt and I get better at time management since we had Maddox.

I like to think of myself as a co-blogger here, but Andrea takes up so much time and energy that my posts never seem to get written.

You know Nick, something occurred to me! That bastard Ampersand is trying to deny us our maternity leave. WTF is up with that?
