Monday baby blogging: Sydney and Maddox at the Playground

Posted by Ampersand | May 8th, 2006

Sydney slid swiftly down the spiral slide

Sydney spiralling downhiill - which is one of her favorite activites. This playground is in a little park about four blocks away from the house.

Maddox the swinger

Maddox isn’t into being thrown up and down into the air (which is unfortunate, since she had a Daddy who is very into throwing children into the air). But she likes being swung.

Frankly, I wouldn’t imagine that this device - a sort of weid what-the-heck-is-it-supposed-to-be ridable structure on a really thick spring - would be all that much fun.

Sydney riding the... the... I don't really know what that thing she's riding is.

But clearly, I’d be wrong. Looking at Sydney’s expression, this stupid spring thingy is in fact a major locus of fun in the universe. Who knew?

    Amp,

Thanks so much for the beautiful pics of Sydney and Maddox. I don’t even know the little darlings, but I print out these pictures anyway and have them stuck up all over my cube.
