Monday Baby Blogging: Maddox In The Sink

I’m feeling lazy today, so only one baby blogging pic this week… Maddox in the sink. Maddox is happy to be in the sink, of course. She’s happy anywhere. Unless she’s decided that being unhappy might get her mom to put her on the boob, in which case she’s unhappy anywhere. One of Maddox’s few complete sentences is “I want boobie.”
Oh, and speaking of milestones, it’s been a week since Sydney pooped anywhere but in the potty. (Sorry, no photo to go with that).
One lovely thing about having babies is that you can dress them in the most outlandish outfits and they’ll like them. Next week: Sydney in her bunny dress.

awww, that is one cute bald head. I worried that my daughter would never get hair, when at 2 she was a baldy. Now I cant get her to get it Out Of Her Face.

Amp, I’ve got to say, I really really love the babyblogging. Seriously, when I’m having a grumpy morning, a little slow getting my day started, etc., seeing a happy smiling baby just really turns it all around.
*grin* Well, considering what a little fuzzyhead Maddox is, I can’t imagine that that’s something they’ll need to worry about much.

Sooo cute. I have and love those kneesocks, minus the little hearts. Mine are somewhat bigger.
I’ll give you that the dress is outlandish, however :)
Seconded. Plus, your kids have awesome names. Unless you’ve got a Gertrude and a Stanley you keep under your stairs and don’t blog about…

I adore baby pics! But my babies must have been weird because by the time they were six months old, neither one would let me dress them in clothes that they did not like. Before my oldest child could talk, she knew how to drag her dirty sleeper out of the laundry pile and demand to be dressed in it. *sigh*

I have to admit — contrary to what I wrote in the post — Sydney can be pretty fussy about what she wears. It’s also hard to get her to keep her clothing on — a lot of the time, even if she likes her outfit, she’ll decide she’d rather be nekkid.
But she generally likes colorful, wonky clothes. Oh, and very frilly princess outfits. And footsie pajamas with Hello Kitty on them.

It’s like Amp is ashamed of Gertrude and Stanley. He has never even once posted a picture of either of them on Monday baby blogging and he never talks about them.
As someone who lives with him, I can report that he never plays with them or even acknowledges them.
It’s like they don’t exist to him.
Which just shows the dangers of not giving kids cool names. :)
