		<description>Here's something that came up the other day. So, I know that Burma changed its name to Myanmar a few years back. And, being progressive, we want to recognize these sorts of changes and not be "ignorant" like those who still call the Czech Republic Czechoslovakia. 

However, it seems that the change to Myanmar was actually implemented by the current government, and the resistance (including the protesters we're talking about here) are holding fast to maintaining the name Burma. So, wouldn't it be better -- and more progressive -- to NOT recognize the new name and continue to refer to this country as Burma?

I'm not trying to tell people what to do, or shame anyone. It's just something that came up the other day, and I found the topic very interesting and thought I'd open it up for discussion.</description>
