SNL is probably trying to figure out if they can get away with putting someone in blackface to play him.

Obama's weaknesses are cockiness, aloofness, and a tendency toward braininess. Those require some subtle study of character to pull off in satire, but I think it could be done by a talented impersonator - especially if it is juxtaposed with his attempts to be either "fiery" or "cool."

Coldblooded, Joe.... but it was awkward. Just the other day, I was wondering about how comedians and satirists would make fun of Obama if he did become president... perhaps his idiosyncrasies would emerge with time, but he seems so bland right now. They don't even have anybody on SNL who could play him, unless they put Maya Rudolph in a suit or something.

Wow, that was really not funny. I didn't think Obama would be edgy or anything but that was just...sad. I get the impression that he was having a good time. That's also sad.
