How could Will have gotten kicked off before Mark? It makes… no… sense.

I’m glad Mark is still around; but it was Twitch’s time to go. Not Will’s. Definitely not Will’s. It was his competition to lose. Right now I got money on Chelsea.

My mother and I were discussing this last night! She took the “this is racist bullshit stance” that white people couldn’t stand to see 3 black men in the final and had to insert a non-black man in the mix just to make themselves feel better. [Full disclosure-she was having a bad day dealing with some people who just happened to be white so this may have clouded her judgment, okay let's say it did cloud her judgment and be done with it!] I told her that I could kinda see her reasoning but that after watching this show from day one I didn’t think racism was necessarily the culprit.
The way the show is set up, I feel, is that the judges get to keep and dismiss the right people in the beginning. No matter who I like personally it is hard to disagree with the judges when it comes down to talent and who pulled of their particular dance that week. The problem is when it gets to the finals and becomes solely up to the viewers individual votes. Will was by far the most talented dancer on the show, just like Danny Tidwell was the best dancer on last year’s show. But this competition has never been about sheer talent which the judges have said time and again. The most technically gifted dancer always makes it to the top ten but sadly they have yet to find a dancer who has the technical skills of a Will/Danny and the likability of a Benji. Travis Wall came close but he lost out to Mr. Personality AKA Benji Schwimmer.
No doubt all the dancers are talented but when you put together charm, charisma AND talent, well something had to give and that’s why Will left and Mark stayed. But one thing my mother and I did agree upon was that Will WILL go on to bigger and better things. I’m sure Alvin Ailey and tons of other prestigious dance companies are drooling at the thought of adding him to their ranks. I wouldn’t be surprised if he became one of America’s leading dancers in the next 10 years or so.

While I totally agree that Will was the most talented dancer on the show, the winner is not ‘America’s Best Dancer’.
This comment was written by MamaCarrie. The winner is ‘America’s Favorite Dancer’.
Which doesn’t mean Will is a huge fan favorite. He just didn’t get the votes.
I can’t wait to see what he does next with the huge career he’s got in front of him.

It’s like…I’m considering not watching the rest of the season. I became so devoted to the beauty and artistry of watching Will. He did a thousand things I loved. He elevated my love of dance. He just kept moving me and moving me. It’s heartbreaking.
