Is this an Obama Baby or what?

My little Eli is really growing fast. He’s been making talking sounds for a long time, and he tries to imitate people who talk to him. He kept saying some word that sounded like okra, so we tried to get him to make a long O sound. Here’s a youtube video of my husband trying to get him to say Obama. He comes pretty close to saying it. Of course, according to my mommy ears he actually said Obama. He also likes to say uncle, good, and his favorite made up word is “enguh.”little-eli-says-obama.jpg

    He is the most adorable male baby I have seen this week (sorry, but my weekend was spent with my cousin’s baby daughter and my boyfriend’s one-year-old niece, so they take the cake overall…)

    Our 15 month old likes to wear her Obama button and calls it “bama” — we made sure she saw Obama on TV so she didn’t think “Obama” means “button”.

    Of course, one of her first two-syllable sounds was “ah-goo”, and her brother insists it was “Al Gore” — months before mama or dada!

    My friend’s godson just started to talk, and one of his first words was Obama. Serious.
